Intermittent Fasting with Workout

I started Intermittent Fasting around last year in September. I’ve written about the benefits of Intermittent Fasting in this post and I won’t bore you with details again in this post. But you might want to go through my experience.

I recently started re-started gym. This time I’ve hired a personal trainer as well. I go to the gym 3 days a week as of now and I’m hoping to make it 5 days a week.

Now because of my job, there are certain challenges with my gym timing, I don’t have a fixed time. I gym only the days I work from home. The reason for it is — Intermittent fasting. My IF schedule is 16:8 and I skip breakfast to be able to do that. This, unfortunately, rules out workout in the morning. Since I’ve just started I don’t want to workout during my fasting hours.

I’ve read countless blogs on how people who do Intermittent Fasting and workout time it such that they break the fast right after the workout.

However, in whatever little time I’ve been working out along with Intermittent fasting, it’s really helped. I’m in much better shape and I’ve started losing weight again. You might remember that while I was losing in size, I wasn’t losing any weight. With workout, not only have I’m speeding up the process to reduce fat but also losing weight.
